President Dave Bloomer Presented Officers with officer pins to wear during their term of office and present to their successor when they leave office.  A pin showing their past office will then be presented to them.  Members were reminded to contact their legislators about NARFE legislative goals as the National Legislative Training Conference has just completed and members at that conference visited Senators and Congressman on capitol hill.  Members should also let their Senators and Congressman hear from them.  Remember to use phone or email to contact the Washington DC offices or write to local District Offices as mail sent to Washington DC is still screened and takes a long time to arrive.  It was announced new NARFE PAC pins are available.  The Legislative Chair will order pins and have them at future meetings.  It is important that we support NARFE-PAC for the upcoming
Congressional election.  The Treasurer was advised to submit the paperwork to obtain NARFE's offer of insurance for the chapter.
