CHAPTER MEETING INFORMATION:
The NE Houston Chapter meets at noon the 1st Monday of each month unless it is a holiday in which case meeting is on 2nd Monday [no meetings in June (Picnic), August, and December (Party)].  Meetings are held at Evelyn Churchill Community Center, 1508 Hunter Street, Galena Park, Texas.


Directions:  Exit Loop 610 at Clinton and take Clinton east to Fidelity, turn left (north) on Fidelity , then turn right on Tennessee and proceed to Galena Manor Park .  The Community Center is said to be at 1508 Hunter Street.  The Recreation Bldg is listed as 1500 County Road.

TO BECOME A MEMBER, OR OBTAIN ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Membership is open to civilians in any agency of the federal or the District of Columbia governments who have a federal retirement plan. These include retirees; former employees; current employees and their spouses; spouses and surviving spouses of those eligible to join NARFE and former spouses who are legally eligible for a federal or survivor annuity. Remember, you don't have to be retired to join NARFE. There is no age requirement.
